Born and raised in Mississippi, now settled on the Virginia side of D.C., Gracious Me brings southern flair to Americana/ folk/ alt. country music. Her writing takes a literary, female perspective on the major connection points in life, and her soulful singing brings that perspective to life in song. In 2015 Gracious Me expanded the reach of her music, performing live in Virginia, D.C., Maryland, North Carolina, New York, and Mississippi, and in 2016 she added dates in Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Tennessee! So far in 2017 she has focused on digging deeper with her songwriting, and she will be sharing the results with audiences in her upcoming performance dates.
Gracious Me is expanding into a musical collective! We now have the Gracious Me Band, performing Americana originals and songs from the American Songbook with Gracious Me on vocals and songwriting duties, Jeff Hayes on lead guitar, Len Crutcher on rhythm guitar and vocals, and Michael Henry on bass.
